Mauve, a pale purple coloration with a touch of gray, contains a loaded and interesting heritage. The color was very first found in 1856 by a young chemist named William Henry Perkin. At the age of just eighteen, Perkin was aiming to synthesize quinine, a remedy for malaria, from coal tar. Alternatively, he accidentally created a new artificial dye
